Alicia Watson is a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner with advanced education and clinical training in family medicine and adult-gerontology acute care medicine. Her clinical background allows her to care for patients across the lifespan while also managing complex and high-risk medical conditions.
Alicia earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Alabama’s Capstone College of Nursing, graduating magna cum laude. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Samford University’s Moffett & Sanders School of Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner with focused training in family medicine and women’s health.She continued her education at Brenau University’s Ivester College of Health Sciences and Nursing, where she completed a Post-Master’s Certificate as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.Alicia’s clinical training includes outpatient experience throughout South Georgia and Metro Atlanta in family medicine, women’s health, pediatrics, adult health, and gerontology. Her acute care training includes high-acuity clinical environments at Grady Memorial Hospital and Northeast Georgia Medical Center, with experience in critical care, medical-surgical intensive care, coronary care, cardiology critical care, and general cardiology.
Following her advanced practice training, Alicia has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in critical care and emergency medicine, caring for patients with complex, urgent, and high-risk medical needs. Her professional foundation also includes more than a decade of Registered Nurse experience before becoming a Nurse Practitioner.

Telehealth services are also available for eligible patients throughout Georgia, including patients located in Metro Atlanta, Valdosta, and surrounding South Georgia communities. Telehealth eligibility may vary based on the patient’s medical needs, the services requested, and whether an in-person examination is clinically necessary.
